The Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Conference takes place at the University of Huddersfield on 15th September 2014.

The conference will include a diverse range of speakers currently involved in raising awareness of FGM or working in this field. The aim is to increase practitioner knowledge, raise awareness of current issues and work being done to eradicate FGM. This conference is suitable to not only students/midwives and all health professionals but to anyone working in the public sector and interested in safeguarding women and children vulnerable to FGM.
